Buy from a forecast, then turn it into an order
Smart Purchasing predicts menu-item demand, then you accept or adjust each prediction. Perishable (TCS) forecasts use a 7-day horizon; dry goods use 30 days. From there you can create a purchase order without retyping quantities.
Predictions with confidence and explanations
Each prediction includes predicted units, a confidence label, the model used, and an explanation. You can accept the number or modify it with a reason code and optional note. That feedback is stored to improve later predictions.
Accuracy, shadow mode, and events
The screen shows accuracy, MAPE, acceptance rate, and a weekly trend. Shadow mode compares predicted versus actual units. Upcoming events can carry an impact factor so the forecast is not only a trailing average.
From predicted dishes to purchase quantities
A predicted dish maps through its recipe to ingredient quantities. The Create Purchase Order action opens purchasing with those suggested lines.
What the demo is — and is not
The public demo uses an illustrative Mimis Pizzeria scenario (simulated operational data, not live sales). Forecasting in the product is still a beta/demo capability and should not be read as a guaranteed outcome.
