How to use the beta with real data
A safe walkthrough for counting inventory and managing purchases without inventing restaurant data. The product is a technical beta: Square stays disabled until real credentials are validated, and it is not an accounting system of record.
1. Count inventory
Find the ingredient, confirm its unit, enter the physical quantity you just verified, review expired products, and save only when the count is correct.
2. Manage a purchase
Keep the order as a draft until supplier, quantities, and price are confirmed. Approve and send only when the information matches the real purchase, then mark it received after checking the delivery.
3. Close the task
Confirm the new state remains after reloading. If it fails, keep the message, time, and action. Do not repeat an uncertain action that could duplicate stock or orders.
